Off to a Rough Start...

I'm starting to see a pattern begin AGAIN. I haven't posted anything since my first post last week. How does one find the time to give a blog the attention that it deserves? Any comments, advice, tips, etc would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

I have had quite a busy week. Since my last post; I had a wonderful Birthday celebration. My youngest daughter, Ashton cooked our family a wonderful meal of Cheesy Chicken Ranch Pasta, Loaded Baked Potatoes, Garlic Bread, and salad. I didn't include a picture of my salad, because my salad is never very pretty. You see; I LOVE salad, but due to a medical condition I can't eat fresh vegetables, so my salad consists of egg, cheese, bacon bits, croutons, and ranch dressing. Salad hold the veggies for me!
Many of my friends want to know who bakes the baker's birthday cake? I don't eat cake very often, because I see cake ALL THE TIME! Sometimes, in my sleep! My mother and Ashton went to Dairy Queen and bought an ice cream cake. Now that's a cake that I can dig into! Notice the cake says, "Happy Birthday Jammie?" That is what my two precious grandson's call me. I just had to be a little different. I couldn't imagine myself being called any of the usual grandmotherly names. I'm far too HIP for that business...LOL
After all the birthday celebrating was over; we took a spur of the moment trip to Texas to help our Aunt Dot and Uncle Jim with a little project. We took our oldest grandson, Karter along. He had so much fun, helping his Pop Pop hammer, drill, and saw. We had a wonderful visit.
Before we left, they gave me some antique goodies that I will share with y'all at another time. Thank you Aunt Dot Dot and Uncle Jim. I will forever treasure my goodies! Love you two too the moon and back!

I have to teach a class tonight, so I better get off of here and get my stuff together. Cake decorating tomorrow; then painting orders for the rest of the weekend. Hopefully, I will make it out to the other house to complete the other bookcase. I'm so excited to see THAT wall of the family room complete. It is getting there...slowly but surely.

Until next time...I hope everyone has a great day and a fabulous weekend!
Hugs,
Jennifer
